Makai Saag


  • 125g (4½oz) onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp balti curry paste
  • 115g (4oz) tin chopped tomatoes
  • 500g (1lb 2oz) baby spinach leaves
  • 350g (11oz) baby corn, halved
  • 1 tbsp coriander, fresh chopped


  1. Fry onions in 1 tbsp oil for 5-8 mins. Add Balti curry paste and the chopped tomatoes. Cook for 5 mins. Stir through baby spinach and baby corn; cook on a low heat for 5 mins. Sprinkle with fresh chopped coriander and serve.
